On December 6^th 2021, the signing ceremony of key projects & the inauguration ceremony of livelihood projects of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin was held in the Chimelong International Conference Center. At the ceremony, 4 key livelihood projects were started and 12 key project contracts were signed. CEC and the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin  signed the strategic cooperation agreement to build the CEC Cyberspace International Innovation Center.

In the future, the CEC Cyberspace International Innovation Center will focus on IC design, software development, cybersecurity, and digital services to build a platform for industrial agglomeration, technological innovation, and global talent collaboration, thereby facilitating the development of cyberspace-strong nation, digital nation and Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
